Duke.ai wanted to roll out the first version of the app very quickly and get validation from the market. Keeping stakeholder's requirements in mind, we prioritized the features and limited the scope of the initial phase to a bare minimum to qualify for a WVP - Winning Viable Product. By being very frugal with the feature list and avoiding feature creep, we were able to focus on core features which were the heart of the platform - users adding their bills, view their settlements and a very basic reporting of their bills over the quarter. This approach worked very well for the stakeholders as it allowed them to roll out an innovative app in a very short duration and get to market very quickly. The first phase of their app got great response, and we are currently working on their next generation platform with added functionality.
