About Truckaro
Truckaro attempts to bring to the trucking logistics space, the efficiencies and innovation that Uber brought to taxi service. Built as a platform and marketplace, it helps connect Consignors (shippers) with Transporters who provide trucking and freight services and Agents who arrange for logistics support (permits, documentation etc.) to bring transparency and efficiency to a very unorganized industry. We helped Truckaro design the platform from the ground up and also developed the application for the Android platform as a native app.
Our Approach
The primary challenge was that target users were not tech-savvy at all. We had to first build a validation team comprising of a set of sample users with whom we could validate designs at each stage. We made the interactions extremely simple by breaking down any complex task into multiple steps. Each step was personalized to the user such that the user would not feel overwhelmed by the flow. We made sure that even novice users would be able to use the app with ease.
