Quite a few of us work remotely and had that innate understanding of the pain points of the users, however, we wanted to make sure that we were not prejudiced solely based on our requirements. We spent considerable time interviewing target users and understood their pain points. This helped us come up with great designs that were practical. Wurkr’s vision is that the app should “feel and work as if people are communicating in the real world”. So, at every stage, our designs had to address “how it would have been done if people were in front of each other”. We brought features such as quick conference and impromptu conversions which were well received by both stakeholders and users. We made use of subtle animations to bring interactivity and engagement to the app.
